This is an extraordinary opportunity for participating choirs to learn from others. International choral experts will give instant on-stage comments to each choir after the performance.

The Concert features three Resident Artists, world-renowned countertenor Mr. Mei-li LI and other distinguished guest choirs from Hong Kong and around the world. The highlight of the night is a massed choir performance of Dr. Steve HO’s “In One Accord” with Prof. Leon Shiu-wai TONG as conductor and Ms. Nancy LOO as pianist.

Ponomaryov VESNA Children’s Choir, founded more than 50 years ago, has attained a number of prestigious prizes in international competitions. They are the winner of European Grand Prix for Choral Singing, the most top-level choral competition, in 2000 and 2017. Their repertoire is wide and varied. Audience will enjoy unusual African rhythms, a collection of famous traditional folk songs of different countries and styles, such as incendiary Mexican song, dancing Slovak song, and of course, soulful Russian folk songs.
