The Village of Happiness

Introduction

Yeung Man Sze and Chow Wing Yan are the core members. They devised their first production ‘Searching for the Village Happiness’ by visiting various places and collecting folk stories. These stories center on issues about the city, local villages, development, human relationships etc. Through forms such as storytelling and drama, they aim to search with us all that which is simple and happy. ‘Searching for the Village of Happiness’ is a moveable performance. After the first run at the Hong Kong People’s Fringe on October 2013, it has received overwhelming response, and has been invited to perform at various venues.

Hand in hand, stepping on muddy roads, we search for the village of happiness, and recount heartwarming folk stories!
