Yin Jun & Yin Kun Joint Exhibiton

Description

Description

The artists, although brothers, have a very diverse style of painting and their artwork display distinct differences. “Everyone experiences life differently, so our interpretations are bound to be different”, Yin Jun explained of their distinct styles.

The elder brother Yin Kun, is famous for his Chinese Fairytales – Heroes series. His paintings feature drooling babies in military uniforms, often holding spears, guns or other interesting subjects. Yin Jun, on the other hand, also features babies in his paintings but they are all in tears. He paints them with round heads, big mouths, and big teardrops that are very expressive and exaggerated.
