\u201cWorld of Dancing\u201d is a non-profit making organization found in 2000. Last year, a sizable dance studio was established in \u201cYouth Square\u201d. World of Dancing has organized 9 dancing shows, and has organized and co-organized the major events of \u201cHong Kong Dance Festival 2013\u201d, namely \u201cDancing Beans \u2500 Dancing with Fun in Eastern District\u201d and \u201cDancers of Genius: Showcase in Hong Kong\u201d respectively in 2013. Moreover, the dance troupe also participated in the chorography and performance of the dance poems \u2500 \u201cThe Trace of Migrators\u201d and \u201cThe Great River\u201d presented by Association of Hong Kong Dance Organizations. One of the dance pieces \u201cChildren at Work\u201d from \u201cThe Trace of Migrators\u201d was invited to present in the \u201cFlag-raising Ceremony and Reception of the 12th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWorld of Dancing\u201d has also joined numerous dance competitions, and have been awarded \u201cOverall Best Performance\u201d for two times. In 2012, the dance troupe took part in the \u201cNational Elites of Art Award\u201d, and was awarded \u201cGold Award in the Best Artistic Achievement\u201d. In recent years, the dance troupe has actively organized a variety of functions in Eastern District, including dance fun days, workshops and dance shows.
