{"id":1313038,"date":"2024-07-03T23:43:16","date_gmt":"2024-07-03T15:43:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hkadc.tecturasystem.com\/event\/re-mark-student-matinee\/"},"modified":"2024-07-10T21:06:25","modified_gmt":"2024-07-10T13:06:25","slug":"re-mark-student-matinee","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/event\/re-mark-student-matinee\/","title":{"rendered":"Re-Mark (Student Matinee)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This November, as the opening event of CCDC&#8217;s City Contemporary Dance Festival 2019, Freespace presents a Hong Kong restaging of Re-Mark &#8211; a thought-provoking new work by CCDC Resident Choreography Sang Jijia.<\/p>\n<p>The multimedia site-specific dance performance was inspired by Sang&#8217;s work with dancers in Italy and premiered at the Fabbrica Europa Festival in Florence in 2018. In this Hong Kong iteration &#8211; which moves from a work created for an ancient city to one tailor-made for Freespace, a brand new centre for performance recently constructed on reclaimed land &#8211; Sang continues his multi-faceted reflection on the relationship between body, space and memory.
