HKTA conducts an array of instructional training workshops in a wide variety of modern creative genres including: acting, dancing, vocal training and writing. Courses will be conducted in a variety of languages including English, and French to all, Adults, Teenagers and Kids.<\/p>\n
The Association helps actors to gain control over their work, teaching them to rely on their own instincts, imagination and choices. Our scene study and improv classes produce confident actors who bring an original voice to every production.In fact, the most distinctive thing about one of our members is how different each one is. We train actors to speak in their own artistic voice\u2014producing characters that are rich and layered. They become the artist they always wanted to be. Theater, television and film are all collaborative mediums, so an actor must work well with other actors, directors, casting directors and many more. Our technique trains them to do just that! That\u2019s why we love to work with HKTA actors-students!<\/p>\n

Emilie Guillot, born in Brittany, France, is known not only as an actress\/performer but also as a drama director and producer of quite a wide number of live performances. Her debut was as a ballet dancer. She then graduated from \u2018L\u2019Ecole de Th\u00e9atre Bellevue\u2019 with a diploma in \u2018Corporal techniques and improvisation\u2019. She spent years practicing on stage and in front of the camera, with well-known acting coaches, directors, and producers such as Christian Lucciani, Sylvie Boutley, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Farina, Georges B\u00e9cot, Jean-Ren\u00e9 Lemoine, Daniel Cling, Steven Soderbergh,
\nStanley J. Orzel.<\/p>\n
Finally she graduated with a National Diploma in Performing Arts and in Drama Directing, from the renowned French Drama School \u2018Le Cours Florent\u2019, full of contentment and confidence. In July 2003, she arrived in Hong Kong and started a drama production company (Mon Caf\u00e9-Theatre Ltd) with which she has developped the concept of Caf\u00e9-theatre in HK. Emilie has also been seen as a performer and actress in \u2018Isabeau\u2019, \u2018The Killing of Sister Georges\u2019, \u2018Sandman\u2019, \u2018California Suite\u2019, \u2018The Sneeze\u2019, \u2018God of Carnage\u2019, \u2018Lumina \u2013webseries\u2019, \u2018Push\u2019 feature film, \u2018A little conversation \u2013 independent film\u2019, \u2018Boxed in\u2019 with best film, best acting, best directing awards, \u2018Chinese Zodiac 2012\u2019, Jacky Chan production, and \u2018Far away Eyes\u2019 \u2013 feature film.<\/p>\n
In addition to this, she is a certified Cinema Director and Line Producer from Hollywood Film Institute and HK International Film School.
