“Jack & Jackie 2” is the first ever sequel for an original, local drama production. The story continues with Jack, a computer game programmer, and Jackie, a security guard and divorcee, now married. It is the fifth year of their marriage and Jackie becomes CEO of a security company with more than one hundred staff working under her. Jack, however, is still a beer-drinking couch potato. Their marriage seems to be on the rocks for uncertain reasons – it might be the re-appearance of Jack\u2019s ex-girl friend that’s causing trouble, or maybe it\u2019s that they are not really cut out for each other. Jackie\u2019s son Hang complicates the situation by inviting Tommy, a dashing lawyer who has a soft spot for Jackie, to prepare divorce papers for his mother and stepfather. Spurred on by Hang and Tommy, the divorce seems inevitable, and only the signatures are required.<\/p>\n
Yet more storms are brewing. When Hang’s fianc\u00e9e discovers his intention of marrying her for money to boost his business, all hell breaks loose. The divorce process also has its hiccups. Five people’s lives are at the mercy of the “great unknown hand” as questions keep popping up. But somehow, amidst the chaos, the flickering flame of love keeps burning.
