{"id":1300639,"date":"2022-11-25T06:44:03","date_gmt":"2022-11-24T22:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hkadc9.tecturasystem.com\/archives\/event\/the-interviews-in-sync"},"modified":"2024-01-26T22:05:31","modified_gmt":"2024-01-26T14:05:31","slug":"the-interviews-in-sync","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/event\/the-interviews-in-sync\/","title":{"rendered":"The Interviews In Sync"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;5____(5):the interview in sync&#8221;, the latest work of Lam Yim and Yuen Cheuk-wa, is an aural-visual theatre production powered by human interaction and motion capture\/tracking technology.<\/p>\n<p>     &#8220;5____(5):the interview in sync&#8221; concerns the stories of five strong, dark Shakespearean women and the tragic experiences of five fathers.<\/p>\n<p>     &#8220;Motion Capture\/tracking&#8221; is a process for recording movement and translating that movement onto a digital model. It records the movements of the actor, not his\/her visual appearance. This animation data is mapped to control a model for manipulative performance and allows users to interact with digital content in real-time. &#8220;Synchronisation&#8221; is the co-ordination of events, such as the conductor of an orchestra leading every musician to keep in time.<\/p>\n<p>     The collaborative ensemble also includes Tsang Tak-hong (live music instrumentalist), Moon Yip (set and costume designer), Allen Fung (lighting and video design), Sincere Li (sound designer) and Ashley Cheung (interactivity engineer).
