This year, he is further nominated as the \u201cSoliste Instrumental de l&#8217;Ann\u00e9e\u201d by the same award event. Moreau\u2019s talent was first recognized at the Rostropovich Cello Competition in Paris in 2009, in which he received the Prize for the Most Promising Contestant when he was 15. Two years later, he won the Second Prize and the Prize for the Best Performance of the Commissioned Work in the 14th International Tchaikovsky Competition held in Moscow, under the chairmanship of Valery Gergiev.  He will make his Hong Kong d\u00e9but and open Hong Kong Sinfonietta\u2019s new season with Shostakovich\u2019s Cello Concerto No 1, under the baton of Music Director Yip Wing-sie. The concert begins with the world premi\u00e8re of Stephen Yip\u2019s Ink. Color, a piece which describes the painting in composer\u2019s mind by using different sonority of somber colour, textures, dynamics, intensities and contrasts.
