Pretext Quartet (Endless Version) is a redeveloped theatrical version of Pretext Quartet. Evolved from Pretext – Lam\u2019s dance project, Pretext Quartet (Endless Version) does not only continue to seek possibilities in the notion of \u201cthe moment when thoughts intertwined before words are uttered\u201d. It also focuses on uncovering people\u2019s responses and reflections about what they have just spoken. These bring us to a new question: is what I said and what you heard really the \u201ctrue words\u201d of mine?<\/p>\n
Ivanhoe Lam, the choreographer, is particularly skilled at combining the elements of drama and dance to create a one-of-its-kind aesthetics for space and expression. Using the features of drama and dance, different visions are designed so that concrete \u201cspoken words\u201d and abstract \u201cmovements\u201d are woven together.
