This condesnsed production of Rom\u00e8o et Juliette not only presents an enjoyable version of the opera, but also a real-life learning opportunity for young audience to understand an opera production from onstage to backstage. As a guided performance, a narrator will introduce the historical background, major characters, music and other important elements like stage setting, props and costumes. Curtains will be raised during scene changes to unveil backstage operation. A multimedia presentation showing various pre-performance preparatory works such as costume making and rehearsals will surely be inspiring.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"template":"","location_type":[350136],"event_category":[373314,373458],"area_type":[350138,350139],"event_language":[],"series":[387761,387117,387222],"event_category_other":[],"class_list":["post-1293492","event","type-event","status-publish","hentry","location_type-indoor-en","event_category-music-en","event_category-music-opera-en","area_type-local","area_type-non-local","series-2016-jockey-club-opera-hong-kong-young-artist-development-programme-3","series-arts-scheme","series-jockey-club-opera-hong-kong-young-artist-development-programme","search-detail"],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event\/1293492","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/event"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1293492"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"location_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/location_type?post=1293492"},{"taxonomy":"event_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event_category?post=1293492"},{"taxonomy":"area_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/area_type?post=1293492"},{"taxonomy":"event_language","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event_language?post=1293492"},{"taxonomy":"series","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/series?post=1293492"},{"taxonomy":"event_category_other","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.artseventsdb.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/event_category_other?post=1293492"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
