From November 2018 to May 2019, a series of six public workshops will be held at the Fringe Club. Topics range from jazz improvisation to arts administration. The workshop will be opened to the public as well.<\/p>\n<p>The first workshop will be hosted by young local jazz drummer Nate Wong, covering topics from a drummer\u2019s perspective but relevant to improvisers on any instruments. He\u2019ll introduce the fundamentals of time-keeping, swinging and grooving, and generating an individual vocabulary for jazz.
