As they burn they vanish and the world becomes silent again. A firework\u2019s explosion doesn\u2019t elicit warmth; instead, there is desolation once the spectacle ends. Perhaps life is like a firework For nothing lasts.<\/p>\n<p>CCDC Resident Choreographer Sang Jijia explores fireworks as a metaphor, questioning the human experience and the inevitable changes we face in life. Our struggle for survival opens us to pain and anguish, love and suffering, to risks and the urge to protect \u2013 to life and death.
