Tailor-made for students and novices, A Love Insight – Romèo et Julietteis a light version of Romèo et Juliette performed by local artists of the Jockey Club Opera Hong Kong Young Artist Development Programme. This condesnsed production of Romèo et Juliette not only presents an enjoyable version of the opera, but also a real-life learning opportunity for young audience to understand an opera production from onstage to backstage. As a guided performance, a narrator will introduce the historical background, major characters, music and other important elements like stage setting, props and costumes. Curtains will be raised during scene changes to unveil backstage operation. A multimedia presentation showing various pre-performance preparatory works such as costume making and rehearsals will surely be inspiring.

This semi-staged concert, with a wide range of opera cuisine from Italian, German, French to Russian, is ready to serve the Hong Kong audience and opera lovers!
