Since handbell is an instrument that requires a high degree of cooperation among the ringers, performing in a mass ringing is a great opportunity for ringers to promote their ringing techniques and to fulfill their musical aspirations. Today the ensemble has transformed itself and shines on stages around the world, receiving high praises from audiences everywhere. Their achievement has brought great honor to Hong Kong’s handbell community. In this concert, HKYHE-Elite will debut the full range of handbell instrument, 7-octave handbells (85 notes) and 6 octave handchimes (73 notes).
