Leaving his beloved rose, the Little Prince from asteroid B-612 starts his space odyssey. On his journey, he comes across the Earth, where he meets a pilot lost in the Sahara and makes friends with a fox and a snake… This story of love and courage eventually leads the lost pilot to the meaning of life hiding in the dark.

Based on The Little Prince, this dance theatre for families integrates contemporary dance, literature, music, live sand drawing and animation – an inspired, unexpected and unique interpretation of this well-loved classic.

The magical Academy Gastronomy is a spell-binding establishment attracting all the best students. But Nanoko is not doing well at the school. What’s more, her father’s outdoor food stall is on the verge of closing down. Just when it seems things couldn’t get any worse, Nanoko uncovers a shocking secret involving the winner of the Gourmet Guru award and her dad.
But then events start to sizzle. The mythical Cryptic Cookbook turns up at home! And Nanoko sets out to decipher the mouthwatering tome. Her goal is to save the family business and give the Gourmet Guru title back to its rightful owner. Does she have the right ingredients to succeed?

Bauhaus Magic Flute

BAUHAUS Magic Flute is adapted from the opera by Mozart, The Magic Flute. Infusing elements of kids songs into the Mozart’s melody, adapted with Chinese and English lyrics and with animations, the new show introduces Bauhaus aesthetic while audience singing along with puppets. Starting from the basic geometric shapes and primary colours, then exploring the sense of scale and space, as well as feeling different moods brought by different textures, adults and kids together will learn architecture bit by bit. Adventure into Bauhaus world of art and stimulate children’s visual and auditory senses.

2017 Hong Kong Youth Music Camp Concert I

A Splendid Chinese and Western Classical Showcase

The Hong Kong Youth Music Camp is one of the annual signature events organised by the Music Office. During the camp, about 400 budding musicians will receive extensive training from celebrated music maestros from various parts of the globe.

Conductors of the Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Junior Chinese Orchestra, Chinese Orchestra, Junior Strings and Youth Choir include Joe Yamaji (Taiwan), Satoshi Yagisawa (Japan), Wen Fengchao (Mainland), Quek Ling-kiong (Singapore), Kuo Wei-ting (USA) and Stephen Cleobury (UK).

Under the batons of these six celebrated music maestros, the camp’s young and talented participants will perform two concerts, enabling audiences to hear and enjoy their achievements.

The Mad Monk and the Eight Immortals

Deep in the woods lives an eccentric monk, who refuses to follow tradition: he eats meat, likes to drink, and indulges in wild behaviour. People refer to him as the “Mad Monk”. When the Eight Immortals, who champion good behaviour, hear of the Mad Monk’s ways, they decide to teach him a lesson. They meet and an unearthly battle begins.
