Our Immortal Cantata By Yat Po Singers
“How far would you go in the name of love?” Our Immortal Cantata is a fun-filled and poignant theatrical piece that examines and questions the sanity of love. Through music, video images and role-play, it begins with a forum discussion on the greatest suicides for love in history and literature. Scene after scene of a cappella music performance, new interpretation of classic plays like Princess Changping, The Butterfly Lovers, Romeo & Juliet, and Rouge, come alive on stage for one final showdown. Only one question remains, “Was it worth it?”
