Guizhou is situated in the southwest of China. It boasts picturesque landscapes, pleasant climate, rich natural resources, and an interesting demographic mix of ethnic minority groups. There is a Chinese saying that describes the uniqueness of Guizhou –”A different sky every ten miles, and different customs even within one mountain”. It has therefore given birth to many rare cultural heritage gems.
