Through a formal audition exercise, a panel of adjudicators will study all the final compositions and select the best pieces among the four participating schools for the finale concert to be held at a performing venue outside school so that students will share the results of their training with members of the public.

“Cinderella” Creative Ballet Animateur Scheme – Magic Theatre

Cinderella is a perennially popular fairy-tale. With the help of her fairy godmother, the kind and beautiful Cinderella escapes her two evil sisters and rides in a pumpkin carriage to a grand ball where she meets the prince. In the end, she lives happily ever after with the prince.

This project, based on the classic fairy-tale Cinderella, leads participants through the touching storyline and encourages them to learn how to use body language to express emotion. Participants can also take part in backstage production. Whether on stage on behind the scenes, students can help to create and perform this evergreen fairy-tale.

Ballet Classics for Children, a fun and interactive ballet designed for children aged 5 and above. The Hong Kong Ballet’s dancers performed an educational adaptation of the ultimate classical ballet, Cinerella, designed to awaken children’s interest in the arts and culture.
