“Tremble, Movement, Perception” attempts to examine the relationship between technology and human perception. Chiu Chih-Yung, the curator of the exhibition, points to the curatorial concepts manifested by the three actions of the exhibition title: tremble refers to the “vibration and shaking directed by a certain perceptual mood”, while movement is “a non-static emotional response created by our own bodies or external forces”, and perception stands for an “emotional reaction, self-perception, or thoughts initiated by external stimulation”. Behind the notion of immediate mental and physical response to external impetus, there is something more serious: when technology is separated from its function, how does it develop its sensory and emotional influence over humans?
