Culture is the soul of a city” － a healthy community development should not count only on improving living environment and transportation network, but also on developing a sense of belongings and hence strengthening social cohesion within the community.
“2 or 3 Things I Know about North West” is a programme which includes diversify interests programme and performances. It aims at sowing seeds of arts and culture, making them grow in every part of the city.

Introduction
Yuen Long, Tuen Mun and Tin Shui Wai are some of the fastest-growing districts in Hong Kong. Within a decade, there is a rapid population growth within these districts which brings up a million population.

“Communion, City, Creativity” – we unite the NGOs within the districts and design a series of programme for Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking teenagers. Through the programmes, we encourage teenagers to express their wishes and visions towards the community with their creativity.

“Hong Kong 1911 — Giant Puppet Parade and Performance” is based on the epic poetic movement theatre “The Centenary of An Uprising”, depicting the changes and development in Hong Kong over the past century. The programme will take place along the Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail and the Central and Western District Heritage Trail from July to October 2011.

The program encourages youngsters to upgrade themselves, win over their barrier through participation in workshops and performances. Qualities such as caring, responsible, trust and respect are promoted, wisdom and pure heart wait for our exploration.
