Yao Jue Music Academy

Yao Jue Music Academy was founded by virtuoso violinist Jue Yao, and community leaders, Mrs Peggy Lam, SBS, OBE, JP and Ms Ada Wong, JP, in 2001. It aims to promote music education and to provide quality training mainly in string instruments.The Academy is committed to enlightening and nurturing young musical talents of the next generation. Yao strongly believes that besides formal training, it is very important to cultivate a right concept in music to students in order to become a good performer. She also believes the importance of early music education to pre-school children.Most of the tutors the Academy employees are with both teaching and other performing experience who are graduates from world’s most prestigious music institutes and are currently working and/or have been worked with professional orchestras. There are also tutors who have extensive early childhood education experience in teaching beginners.
