The Bassoonion
Introduction
A registered musical organization, the Bassoonion was founded in October 2005. It aims at introducing the bassoon to general public and gathering bassoon players in Hong Kong by providing a platform for academic discussion and performances. Since its establishment, the Bassoonion has been active in performing at various occasions and venues in Hong Kong and Macau, as well as organizing activities such as reed-making workshop. Members of the Bassoonion range from primary school students to experienced bassoon teachers and players from the professional field.
