H&J Studio

‘H&J Studio’ was established in April 2008. It serves as the supporting partner of ‘Black’s Workshop’.

The main objective of ‘Enjoy the Modern and Traditional’ is to promote Chinese classical music to public and enable them to appreciate Chinese classical music. Apart from doing research and learn about traditional Chinese music, we will try our most to develop modern Chinese chamber music.

We have rearranged some familiar Chinese tunes, introduced distinguish traditional as well as modern Chinese music and the original music composed by Hong Kong composers so as to help people know more about Chinese music. We will also introduce famous composers and musicians both in Hong Kong and China. In order to enhance people’s interest in their creativity, we hope composers in Hong Kong can work and to put their work on stage. Besides musical instrument, we have run a lot of music courses for different age groups, such as vocal class, singing games for kids, music introductory course and choir. All these provide a greater space for the development of music.

All the tutors are experienced and professional. They are able to suit the needs for schools and the society. We do hope we can achieve our ultimate goal, ‘Let people from all rounds appreciate music’.
