Friends of Dance

Friends of Dance was established in 2004 by Ms. Ulian Chun. The Artistic Director Ulian Chun is the principal of Ulian Chun Academy of Dance as well as an Examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance. Ms. Chun is a highly qualified ballet teacher with rich practical experience. And she has acquired a Master’s Degree in Dance Education from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts just recently. The sole principle of the Friends of Dance is to promote dance learning in that students will benefit with more control over emotion and problem-solving skills. The importance of creativity and whole person development is also emphasized, so that children may be more active, healthy and confident in their growth through the joyous experiences in dancing. The organization focuses on the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus which enables students to progress technically in different stages. Students are eligible to enter for examinations of different dance styles as well as annual performance to exercise their learning and show their talent.
