Yutaka Makino’s Temporal Object #2
Visual Arts

Description
Description
Yutaka Makino’s Temporal Object #2, a sound installation, investigates the acoustic nature of space. In this piece, the space gradually fills up with sound so that its acoustic nature becomes unperceivable to the visitor. During this process, the resonant space gradually disappears and the body comes into focus. The installation guides visitors to experience a visceral and immersive type of listening as they encounter a continuous folding and unfolding of acoustic and spatial features.
