When Ran Out Of Tears

Description
The heat of last summer casted a gloom over all the Polaroids that Kwok has taken. This inspired Kwok to look back on history from the perspective of weather and connecting the dots. From the Black Rainstorm on the day of Handover of Hong Kong in 1997 to the abnormal heat in summer 2019, Kwok wonders if Hong Kong has run out of tears.
This exhibition features three sets of works, reflecting on various issues in post-handover Hong Kong. These works experiment on material narrative of photography to explore the coincidences in history and inspect the prospect of future.
