“When Lonely Meets Lucky” by Free-To-Play

Description

Description

A lonely old man eats on his own, tells jokes to himself, and is sure life will remain like this forever. But surprise! Lively young neighbour, Ah Hoi, is able to banish his lethargy and reignite his joy for living. Brimming with renewed confidence, the old man sets out to sea again to look for the big fish he has been waiting to catch. Inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s novel, “The Old Man and the Sea”, Free-To-Play brings together life-sized puppets, popular in Europe, with miniature puppets and shadow puppets to show how both old and young can unexpectedly find new purpose, poetry, and fun in everyday existence.
