Description
“E Major Instrumental Music Training Scheme for the Third Age” was established by the TWGHs Elderly Services Section, with the view to make music integral to the everyday life of the elderly and eventually, enhance the physical and mental well-being of the group meriting better if not most caring of our society. E Major Ensemble is the core of this project. It is the first of its kind in Hong Kong to enlarge if not centers the role of the grey-haired the field of orchestra. The Ensemble draws and recruits senior or retired citizens, who, at the age of 50 or above, possess an enduring passion towards music. “The Giving Tree” concert will bring audience to experience the life from childhood to the elderly stage through a music journey.
