Toolbox Performing Platform is a unique experimental occasion geared toward future percussionists. Led by our core members, percussion tyros will be walked through rehearsals and ensemble coaching to gain valuable performing experience.The Hong Kong University of Education’s Modern Music Ensemble will come first to perform in the two-day platform. Balkan Percussion Duo formed by the award-winning Kiril Angelov and Ksenija Komljenović will bring their peculiar selection of Bach, Debussy and Piazzolla. The interactive masterclass by Rieko Koyama and Aziz Barnard Luce will keep the platform rolling while Little Toolbox Percussion will share the intimate night with Kowloon Tong School (primary section) Junior percussion Band to spark audiences’ love for percussion classics.
