Description
Wen Pingsheng has always been loving his childhood partner, Zhao Pinniang, but his mother hates Pinniang and always wishes him to marry his cousin Keqing instead. Sanlang, another man who loves Pinniang, bribes a doctor to falsely claim Pinniang is gravely ill, so she will have to leave the house and he will have a chance. But Pingsheng continues to live with Pinniang which makes his mother furious. When Pinnsheng leaves for the battlefield, his mother takes the chance and expels Pinniang. When Pinhsheng comes back, he hears that his wife has already died…
