Description
Description
Through a series of works, “The Private Room” explores the tension between individuality and collectivity, and creates a journey for the audience to have dialogue with themselves from an individual perspective to explore what is the essence of humanity.
The exhibition is curated with two parts: “Outside” and “Inside”.
In the area of “Outside”, it explores the interaction and the boundary between the outside world and the individual, as well as how the world or the others are influencing/shaping an individual. In the area of “Inside”, artists present the state of self-dialogue and explore the uniqueness of the inner being as a basic existence. By presenting their own state and conflicts, artists reveal the relatively independent self apart from the outside world.
