Description

Adapted from Mozart’s masterpiece of the same title, The Magic Flute is one of the programmes of the upcoming International Arts Carnival 2010, presented by Zuni Icosahedron with Lai Tat-tat Wing and Cedric Chan as co-directors, Mathias Woo as producer, and Edgar Hung as a music director. Lai Tat-tat Wing’s cartoon character Woody Woody Wood will play the role of Mozart and lead all the cast of various cartoon characters and actors in telling us the story conveying the themes of truthfulness, perseverance, love and justice. With 20 melodies from Mozart’s Magic Flute and children’s ballads in Cantonese, The Magic Flute is an enjoyable piece for not only kids but also adults.
