The Happiest Day I Lost
Description
Description
The only way to move forward is a step backward
The plot revolves around the city-dwellers who are in their late 20s, vastly different in their background and work, leaving their usual position and role in search for something buried deep inside their heart. Tak and his mother, July, make a living by running a newspaper recycling business. Unlike his mother, though, Tak could not see the bright future with their life and chose to runaway; Ham inherited his mother’s fruit hawker business when she died, which left Ham devastated gave up on his dream; Dandelion, a model, is searching for the happiest day she had had in her life. She did not forget the day, but only lost it; Anitya is a photographer who fell in love with someone but was being assaulted by a hermit crab; Butterfly is travel guide who always day dreaming in her supernatural fantasies; Mega is a flight attendant who had her monotonous life enough. When she saw a train gliding through mid-air and decide to pursue it, she had had herself traveling in time…
Representing the lost generation who thinks life and relationships a little too difficult to comprehend, these 10 not-so-grown-ups found themselves each standing at their dead ends on the paths of life, clutching firmly on their emptiness in their heart. When the minute imperfection in front of their eyes become unbearably overwhelming, the only choice left to them might only be a step backward to gain a better view on their paths again.
