The Big BandExpress Debut Concert @Fringe Club

The Big BandExpress, formed in Hong Kong under the leadership of Oliver Cura, performs covers from a variety of styles ranging from Jazz, Blues, Swing, RnB, Funk and Rock. As well as performing their own compositions, the band covers hits from great artists such as Bigphat Band, Buddy Rich Bigband, Stevie Wonder, Ides of March, Ray Charles and to mention a few.

The band consists of professional and non professional musician from different bands in Hong Kong like The BandExpress, La Petite Jazzy, some former Hong Kong Disneyland Band Members and other Jazz Musicians active in town.

The Bandexpress performs all over Hong Kong at bars, weddings, corporate shows and special events. The Big BandExpress can tend to any and all of the needs and preferences of your events.

Kylie Choy from La Petite Jazzy Jam, the emerging pop jazz vocalist who is known for her natural and soulful voice will be joining The Big BandExpress, together with some of our soloists, Daniel Cabane on Alto Sax, Raul Capili on Trumpet, Clarence Leung on Keyboard; Joey Torres on Bass Guitar; Davy Tang on Electric Guitar; Dan Fleming on Drums; Joel Senase on Saxophone; Oliver Cura, on Trombone and The Band Director, and the horns sections, promise to give you another experience of the Big Band journey.
