Sin Sin Fine Art is proud to host the third instalment of our Sin Sin Social Club summer exhibition series.
We invite you to join us in discovering the world of renowned Hong Kong Painter Wong Yankwai: a true renaissance man who expresses his creativity in multiple forms.
Wong’s painting stands out among the Hong Kong arts scene in that it is free of social urban and historical context. Colour is his primary medium. He structures it, sculpts it, moves, and speaks with it. The result is an odyssey of powerful and vivid colours that speak their own truth.
This exhibition follows our screening of “I’ve Got The Blues”(2017) by award-winning director Angie Chen. More than a portrait of an artist and the creative life, the film is also a high-octane cat-and-mouse game between filmmaker and subject: one tries to capture, the other evades.
Entrusted as the predominant exhibitor of Yank’s work in Hong Kong, we are excited to share this colourful collection with you.
