Description
Description
Photography captures the reality and artists utilize such a way to demonstrate their own perspectives. Yet, It is challenging to present the vanished world poetically.
The three young artists echo the social and daily cleavage in Hong Kong with their own practices in imaging. The medium of photography is destroyed, damaged, shattered by image-processing techniques, reconstructing the matter of reality into symbolic images. Subjects and materials of image-making are being altered, questioning photography as a reflection of reality. Rise from the ashes, how beautiful would it be?
