Description

Description

An extraordinary group of contemporary dance choreographers
Dominic WONG (CCDC) X Natalie WEIR (EDC) X Kristina CHAN (Australian-Chinese)

A two-year choreography project across Hong Kong and Australia. The first work-in-progress preview was held in Hong Kong in November 2017. Between January and May 2018, choreographers will visit each other to continue their own creations. The show will premiere in Hong Kong in June 2018 and will be staged in Brisbane, Darwin and Beijing afterwards.
Three choreographers from two different cities working together for the first time.
Three distinctive short pieces inspired by climate and life.

Dominic Wong, Assistant Artistic Director of CCDC, is inspired by the contrasting weather of Hong Kong and Australia.

Natalie Weir, Artistic Director of EDC, will show the fascinating characteristics of the four seasons, using Max Richter’s recomposition of Vivaldi’s famous violin concerto Four Seasons. Emerging Australian-Chinese choreographer Kristina Chan, will make her debut in her birthplace, examining and reviewing the impact of climate change.
