Description

Description

Performances of music are often praised lavishly as “conjuring exquisite colours” or, more simply, as “colourful playing”. Why is that? How is it that “colourful” as a visual description makes sense when music is an auditory sensation? What is “colour” in music when we don’t actually see it?

“Project: Chrome” is a collaborative classical chamber music concert by the TimeCrafters and light artist Amy Chan. In this interactive concert, the group will perform pieces that are fascinating from different perspectives, exploring how colour can go hand-in-hand with music. The combination of a constantly evolving lighting atmosphere and the unpredictability of a live chamber music performance will create a vibrantly colourful feast for your visual and aural senses.
