Description

Description

“If every single person were complex, unique and particular, how could society possibly survive”

A mother and son anticipate the arrival of a government inspector sent to interview and assess them for ‘normality’, however it is soon clear that not all the boxes can be ticked, launching all that enter the household off on a crazy journey of self evaluation, imagination and play. This zany and clever piece of theatre takes an irreverent look at the need to ‘act normally’. Written by Paul Wallis, it was a winning play in Trinity College London’s International Playwriting Competition 2010. Performed by the Drama School HK company.
