No Borders – Metro Vocal Group Live Tour – Hong Kong

Description

Description

Founded in 1998, Metro is hailed as one of the top a cappella groups in Asia. Originally from the United States, the four-man vocal group moved to Hong Kong in 2005 and has called it home since then. While in Asia, Metro has discovered an entirely different variety of Cantonese and Mandarin pop music, and now performs arrangements of some of Asia’s best-loved songs as well as their own compositions. Their electrifying performances of both Chinese and English repertoire have made them a household name in the region.

.The first American vocal group in the world to release an all-Chinese record “No Borders”
.Over 20 million views on Youku and YouTube worldwide
.Over 1 million views on Youtube for its performance of the re-arrangement of Beyond’s famous rock ballad, “Under a Vast Sky”
.Special guest in “I Want to Perform in China’s New Year Gala”, “China’s Got Talent” & G.E.M.’s Concert Tour
.First recording of the Cantonese music video “My Pride”
.Talk of the town for recent a cappella collaborations with local pop stars Hacken Lee & Ng Yip-Kwan
.A cappella repertoire ranging from Funk, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Doo-wop to Barbershop
