Description
Glo Chan’s first solo exhibition Nightfall to Daybreak delves into the reality of urban isolation. Through photographic prints, Glo creates an effective link between the historical process of gum bichromate print and the ubiquitous contemporary phenomenon of alienation. Voyeuristic images of a stranger’s window expose the coexistence of solitude and physical proximity in Hong Kong. When the night falls and people retreat to their private spaces, lone individuals are connected by the sight of strange lights.
