Description
There are few creative fields that have such a richly rewarding friendship as the visual arts and music. Why indeed should we choose between Elvis and Duchamp? Some artists never decide and instead develop a sort of double practice.
Through this global and multidisciplinary approach she proposes to understand the projects of the 18 artist-musicians (or musician-artists) from a double point of view – visual and musical. This way we can better see their impact, better measure their diversity and individuality, and better understand what separates them from other contemporary art and music scenes.
Being Head of Art & Culture of the agnès b. Endowment Fund, Jean-François Sanz, the curator of the exhibition, brings this project to Hong Kong with a touch of 2 local artists, GayBird and Henry Chu. Apart from displaying their artworks in the exhibition, the 2 new media artists also gave a mini multimedia music performance during the opening cocktail.
Artists:18 artist-musicians; GayBird; Henry Chu
