Description
The Music Office Annual Gala is a massive music gathering for over 400 young musicians from the Music Office’s bands, choirs and orchestras to perform. Awards also are presented in the Annual Gala to the most outstanding trainees and members of its bands, choirs and orchestras of 2012/13. A diversified repertoire is presented in the Gala, including choral music My Soul, There is a Country, symphonic band version of Puccini’s Turandot – Selections from the Opera, Train Toccata based on a pop song melody, Tchaikovsky’s Serenade in C major for String Orchestra and Glinka’s Overture to Ruslan and Ludmila, and lots more.
