Description
“Moving/Void” by choreographers Francis Leung and Cai Ying, an exploratory exercise on the hidden aesthetics of Chinese dance. In this presentation two modern dancers of different generations, Francis Leung and Cai Ying, will work with multi-disciplinary performance artist Hoyingfung. Together they seek the virtuosity of live art and the innovative contexts buried in traditional Chinese dance. Impromptu musicians Lui Ngao Yuen and Wong Hinyan will join folk singer Peng Zhang and the designers Moon Yip and Bert Wong in weaving in and out of the moving void, presenting a mesmerising tapestry in the making, live on stage.
