Description

Description

Madame She of the Yang family sends her seven sons to attend a diplomatic meeting with the Liao, and they are ambushed. Only two sons escape with old General Yang and they hide in the mountain. Qi-lang, the seventh son, is sent to ask for reinforcement from Pan Hong, but is executed on false charge.

Liu-lang, the sixth son, attempts to speak with Pan and is also wrongly accused. As he flees back to the mountain, the old general has committed suicide, and he brings the tragic news home. The Yang family seeks justice at court, but the Emperor favours Pan and so Madam She resigns. Liao army invades again and the Emperor must seek help from the Yang’s. Will Madame She consent to serving the country once more?
