“Journey of The Car” By Jumbo Kids Theatre

2013/14 School Culture Day Scheme

Description

Description

The performance tells the story of a CAR as it journeys towards a beam of ‘light’, driving to an unknown future after saying goodbye to its owner, Toasty, at his farewell party. At the same time, a number of other cars are driving into the endless time tunnel. Along the journey, many cars start to share their own stories: some were abandoned, some were abused, some were broken up, but some were treasured. CAR’s feelings are mixed and he doesn’t know how to react when suddenly he is distracted by a familiar sound: it is Toasty, calling him. The truth is, Toasty never wanted to let CAR go. Although the two of them were at different locations in space and time, now there is good news on the way…
