Galerie Huit sincerely presents Innocence Revisited, the joint exhibition by Chinese contemporary young artists from 4 March to 8 April. Participating artists include David Hu, Hao Chong Tao, He Juan, Huang Kai, Pan Guanqun, Xia Junna and Zhu Xin Guo who opened their hearts with expression of the influences and environments that shape their art.
This group of post-70s and post-80s artists actually have been active for long and are indeed rising stars of contemporary art. Though the exhibits are in different theme, they manifest kind of youthful passions and simplicity which will bring audiences to cherish their memories of innocent and pleasant childhood. Some of them also reveal faint sense of humor which show a side trip of the emerging artists.
Xia Junna’s exquisite sensitivity and pure emotion make her one of China’s most soughtafter young painters while Huang Kai’s humorous representation shows the edgy rawness of his memories of Beijing back street childhood. David Hu is passionate about drawing vivacious birds and aromatic flowers. In addition, the two high-fliers Hao Chong Tao and Zhu Xin Guo have developed their own stunning styles for art. We are convinced that these artists will appeal to art appreciators, collectors and investors alike.
