Ink Journey

Description

Description

Illuminati Fine Art is pleased to present “Ink Journey” Wong Hau Kwei solo exhibition. Media preview and opening reception with artist attendance will be launched on 12 December. Wong is one of the most influential Chinese painters in the century. Wong has followed Huang Yi and was deeply influenced by his artistic motif. In terms of subject matter, Wong’s works are mainly landscapes, and many of them depict real scenes. Wong is known for his rigorous minimal composition in narrow or ultra-wide frames and space division. By using the contrast of light, size and curves, it creates a strong sense of poetry. Influenced by his mechanical education background, he designed curves with his rational form in a modern order and presenting the abstraction as an architect. This exhibition will display more than 11 recent works by artists, including the creation of media materials such as ink and color on paper.
