Description
The story begins with an informant’s letter, and a complicated case of incest unfolds with four unsettling monologues.
A philosophy professor and father, who has just lost a promising opportunity for promotion, sets out to grab the one thing that can reassert his authority; a doggedly devoted mother tries at all costs to maintain the peace and stability of the family; a daughter yearning for her parents’ love strives to find a way to vent her hurt; and the father’s colleague, an outsider, tries to re-construct the tragedy from a philosophical point of view.
